CNPLX is a resource for people interested in gardening with California native plants. This website will help you select local native plants for any location in the state, and find out who sells them. For each plant that grows wild in California, there is a plant information page that shows


	Availability	- nurseries and seed vendors that sell the plant
	Horticulture	- information about growing the plant

CNPLX is based on native plant information from The Calflora Database. CNPLX presents the information in a different way from Calflora, and includes information about which plants are available commercially. To get more in-depth information about particular native plants and where they grow, follow the links to Calflora, and explore.

Where to Start?

SEARCH for wild California plants by name or characteristics -- for instance:
What plants grow wild in Ventura County, and are likely to grow in wetlands?

On the results page, click on a plant name to see detailed information about that plant,
including nurseries or seed vendors that sell it.
Find out what other plants grow with an interesting plant. (This works best if you narrow the geographic focus by choosing a county.) For instance, on the information page for coyote mint, Monardella villosa, click on the link
